General questions
Everything you need to know about working with Essential Vision Pros — from initial enquiry to final delivery.
Pricing depends on the scope, duration, and complexity of the project. A simple social media clip designed for a single platform may start from around $1,500 AUD, while a full corporate video involving scripting, multi-location shoots, talent coordination, and advanced post-production typically ranges from $5,000 to $20,000 or more. We always provide transparent, fixed-price quotes after an initial consultation so there are no surprises. Our goal is to work within your budget while delivering the highest possible production value.
Most projects are delivered within two to four weeks from the shoot date, depending on the amount of footage, the number of revision rounds, and the complexity of post-production elements such as motion graphics or colour grading. For simpler edits — like cutting a single interview or assembling event highlights — we can often turn things around in five to seven business days. If you have a hard deadline for a product launch, conference, or campaign, let us know upfront and we will build a schedule that meets it. Rush delivery options are available for an additional fee.
Absolutely. While our studio and primary crew are based in New South Wales, we have completed projects across every Australian state and territory — from Melbourne corporate offices to remote Queensland mining sites. Travel and accommodation costs are quoted separately and agreed upon before production begins, so you always know the full investment. For international projects, we can also coordinate with trusted local crews to keep costs manageable while maintaining our quality standards.
We work with a broad spectrum of clients — from early-stage startups and sole traders to ASX-listed companies and government departments. Our portfolio includes projects in healthcare, education, technology, hospitality, real estate, retail, and the not-for-profit sector. Regardless of your industry, the principles of effective video storytelling remain the same: understand the audience, craft a compelling narrative, and deliver it with technical excellence. We adapt our approach to match your brand voice and communication goals.
Every project includes two rounds of revisions as standard. The first round typically covers structural changes — reordering scenes, adjusting pacing, or swapping out footage. The second round focuses on fine-tuning details like colour correction tweaks, audio levels, and text overlays. Additional revision rounds can be arranged for a modest per-round fee, though in our experience most clients are delighted by the second cut. We encourage detailed feedback at each stage to keep the process efficient and collaborative.
Yes — and we strongly recommend it. A well-crafted script and clear creative direction are the foundation of any successful video. Our process begins with a discovery session where we learn about your objectives, audience, and key messages. From there, our writers develop a script or shot list, and our creative director builds a visual treatment that outlines the look, feel, and pacing of the final piece. You review and approve everything before a single camera rolls, which minimises costly changes later in production.
Our core camera package includes cinema-grade bodies from Sony, Blackmagic, and Canon, paired with professional cine lenses, wireless audio systems, and LED lighting kits. For aerial footage, we operate licensed drones with 4K and above capabilities. We shoot in formats ranging from ProRes to Blackmagic RAW, giving our colourists maximum flexibility in post. Final deliverables can be exported in virtually any codec or resolution you need — whether that is an H.264 file optimised for web, a ProRes master for broadcast, or vertical 9:16 cuts for mobile platforms.
Upon full payment, you receive complete ownership and usage rights to all final deliverables as specified in your service agreement. This means you can distribute, re-edit, and repurpose the content across any channel without additional licensing fees from us. We do ask for permission to feature select work in our portfolio and showreel, but this is entirely optional and we will never publish your content without your written consent. Raw footage can also be provided upon request, typically for an additional archiving and transfer fee.
While our primary expertise is production, we offer video strategy consulting that includes distribution planning. We can advise on optimal upload settings for YouTube, Vimeo, and social platforms; create platform-specific cuts from a single master; and provide guidance on paid promotion, SEO metadata, and thumbnail design. For clients who need full-service digital marketing, we are happy to collaborate with your existing agency or recommend trusted partners from our network.
We understand that plans change. If you need to reschedule, we ask for at least five business days notice so we can rearrange crew and equipment without incurring penalty costs. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled shoot may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover pre-production work and crew booking commitments. Full cancellation terms are outlined in your service agreement, and we always aim to be fair and flexible — our priority is maintaining a positive, long-term relationship with every client.
